While many Malaysian Chelsea fans are relishing the prospect of watching their favorite team in K.L. when the English club's 2008-09 pre-season tour commences, they may be disappointed to know that Chelsea may not come after all, after media speculations that manager Avram Grant who is an Israeli may be denied entrance into our country. Tal Ben Haim, also from Israel, will also face such prospects.

Although arguably Chelsea could still come without the duo, but Chelsea CEO Peter Kenyon states that the coach must be available for the tour as it is an integral part of training. Good news is, DPM Najib are favorable for the team although the Blues are not his "favorite team"- the Honorable DPM said Chelsea's presence here will boost Malaysian football.
